What happened and how am I affected as a Partner in the Quora Partner Program?
We recently discovered that some user data was compromised as a result of unauthorized access to our systems by a malicious third party. For more information, please refer to https://blog.quora.com/Quora-Security-Update. As a result of our investigation, we are confident that no partner’s financial information has been compromised.
Our payments provider Stripe has confirmed that no financial information was compromised, and they have reset all access tokens for users with Stripe accounts as an extra precaution.
How do I know if any of my personal financial information was affected?
No partners’ financial information was accessed or affected. For a small subset of partners, there was a temporary window where some limited information could have been accessed or compromised -- but it was not. We have sent emails with further details to this subset of partners.
What if I use PayPal to receive payment?
No data associated with PayPal was part of this breach.
