If you have the Quora app installed on your iPhone or iPad, whenever you tap a quora.com link (e.g. in mobile Safari, or in a digest email), the Quora app should open. If you are visiting quora.com in mobile Safari, tapping the blue "Open in App" banner at the bottom should also open the Quora app. If either of the two actions doesn't open the Quora app (and instead redirects you to the App Store), here are a few ways you can restore the behavior.
1. Use the Smart Banner in mobile Safari
- Open mobile Safari on your device
- Visit www.quora.com
- Login with your Quora account
- Swipe down on the page, so that you are scrolling up.
- An "Open in the Quora app" banner should be shown at the top:
- Tap the "Open" button
- Subsequently, tapping on a quora.com link, or the "Open in App" bottom banner when visiting quora.com on mobile Safari, should open the Quora app directly.

- Open mobile Safari on you device
- Visit google.com
- Type in a search query involving Quora, i.e. "quora software engineer"
- Scroll down to the first search result
- Long press on the result, a menu with various options should appear:
- Select "Open in Quora"
- Subsequently, tapping on a quora.com link, or the "Open in App" bottom banner when visiting quora.com on mobile Safari, should open the Quora app directly.
