There are certain actions that can result in your account being banned. These include, but are not limited to:
- Posting the same content, sending the same messages, or repeatedly sharing irrelevant answers/comments for the purpose of driving traffic to an external site or for monetary gain.
- Coordinated inauthentic activity, such as vote manipulation and/or being linked to suspicious activity.
- Posting content or engaging in behaviors with the intent to harass or humiliate an individual, whether in public or private. This includes encouraging others to engage in such behavior.
- Repeatedly violating Quora policies and/or not changing behavior after receiving a warning or being edit-blocked.
- Posting or sharing deceptive or malicious links on Quora, including ones that mimic Quora UI that direct users to unexpected websites.
- Using multiple accounts to evade moderation or other types of deceptive activity (e.g. impersonation, catfishing).
If a person violates a Quora policy multiple times, they will usually receive content warnings and/or a temporary edit-block before being banned. However, severe violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy can result in an immediate ban.
